PE and Health Education specific:

In a PE setting, technology can be integrated in unique ways. There are many options for students to use various video game systems such as WII Fit, or DDR to learn more about being active. Also, technology can be essential when a student is hearing impaired, or physically disabled in a PE setting. Technology can modify activities for students to participate in activities that they otherwise would not be able to.
The Internet is full of information about various health topics that are very useful. Technologies can be great resources for students to collaborate about what they like to do throughout the day that is related to healthy eating, mental health, exercise, and other topics. Although technology has the potential to shy away from face-to-face interactions, it can be a great way to facilitate more collaboration among the students, teachers, parents, and the community.
